The inspiration and original founder behind Hoboken’s Local International Day of Yoga, Radha Devi, envisioned this global yoga event gracing Pier A, Hoboken, NJ, over two decades ago when she first moved here. A dedicated yoga professional, Radha Devi has been blessed by Himalayan Gurus to practice yoga since birth. With her vision of yearly Yogic Summer Solstices, she aims to create an integral tradition within Hoboken’s community—a global energy event encouraging individuals to embark on their spiritual journey or enhance their yoga practice. Radha Devi is thrilled to share her extensive yogic knowledge, acquired through thousands of hours of practice, with all who join this special International Day of Yoga celebration.
