2024 EVENT RECAP VIDEO:
HOSTED BY:
RADHA DEVI OM (HIDOY VISIONARY and FOUNDER)
“I have dreamed of manifesting and conceiving the celebration of Hoboken International Day of Yoga (HIDoY) for over 2 decades. Through the hard work and dedication of both Urban Souls Yoga Studio and Karmi Yogis, we are beyond grateful to bring this vision to fruition.”

BRENDAN GIBBONS (URBAN SOUL’S CO-FOUNDER)
“Yoga has had a profound impact on the meaning, purpose, and joy in my life. Hoboken International Day of Yoga (HIDoY) is so special because it honors yoga's sacred tradition and history. It unites our yoga community in this beautiful city, fostering connection and harmony. It also helps spread the incredible practice of yoga, promoting wellness and mindfulness for all who participate.”
KAREN and MATT FLANNERY (URBAN SOUL’S CO-FOUNDERS)
“I came to yoga not as a master, but as a seeker - a seeker of connection in the world that feels divided. Yoga, to me, is the space where we breathe together, not apart. It’s where healing begins - not just within, but between us. Hoboken International Day of Yoga (HIDoY) brings this together on a grander scale - uniting us in movement, breath, and purpose.”
“To Contain and Control the Unruly Mind, One should always Reflect upon the Evanescent Nature of the World, Where Life itself is as Transient as the Drop of Water Dangling on the Corner of a Blade of Grass!”  Swami Jagadguru, TATTVALOKA
IMAGINE A WORLD WITHOUT ANY SUNRISES OR SUNSETS!

Hence, come and enjoy this honorable time on Earth and continue to revere the Sun and Moon in our own lives and of Earth as the clock turns towards a Season of Summer Light and Warmer Months!

Om Shantihi…

The first 100 people who donate $33 and come to the event will receive a “Special Yogic Gift”

What is International Day of Yoga

Click on the Register tab. You have to register to participate in the classes. To sit with friends, please register at the same time and then arrive together at least 15 minutes ahead of time at the check-in station. Unfortunately, you will not be able to “save” a spot for a guest that is arriving later. Enjoy the day with us.

Please arrive at the Pier A Lawn (by the Hudson river) 15 minutes before the start of each class.

If you successfully registered for a class, you should receive a confirmation email for the event at Pier A.

Registration MUST be done online even on the day of the event. This is being done to make sure we have enough room for everyone involved.

For check-in, please have your ticket(email confirmation) ready on your smart device or a print out of the email confirmation to present at the check-in booth the day of the event.

No, registration is not transferable and you cannot bring a guest under your registration. Each participant must register themselves in order to have their own ticket (email confirmation).

All classes are free!

However, while you register, you have the option to make a donation for a terrific charity, StevensTHON.

StevensTHON is a philanthropic organization that is committed to enhancing the lives of children and families at Children’s Specialized Hospital, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Our goal is to ensure that all children, no matter their financial status, have access to the life-changing care they deserve. Since all classes are free, consider a donation of $45.

BYOM (Bring your own mat) and BYOW (Bring your own water)

There are no public bathrooms provided.

The Yoga Village will be located on Pier A. Sponsors will have various tables set up with information, free samples, activations, and coupons.

This event will take place rain or shine!

Our hope is that each class will take place in its entirety, but the safety of instructors and participants is our top priority. In past years, we have occasionally delayed individual classes to let rain subside. We will keep all attendees well informed if a class needs to be delayed or cancelled.

We encourage you to dress appropriately for the weather and hope to see you on Pier A for yoga on the longest day of the year!

Sorry, no furry friends, reptiles, or other non-human companions are allowed into the event.

Exception is granted for service dogs.

International Day of Yoga – Hoboken is envisioned by Radha Devi Om and supported by Urban Souls yoga studio. As this is a free event, we rely on support from our fantastic partners, sponsors and donations.
